Music & Worship Arts Week is an event highlighting the arts, worship, education, and renewal in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina at Lake Junaluska. It is designed for all worship leaders of all ages: musicians, artists, dancers, actors and pastors.

Leadership

We’re extremely excited about our 2017 leadership, all of whom bring a wealth of experience and talent to work and worship with us at Lake Junaluska! Learn more about each of our clinicians.

Our Theme

From the first moment of creation, God invites us into a journey of life and faith. God calls us to grow and learn, rest and renew, and engage and change along the way.

At Music & Worship Arts Week 2017, we will celebrate and explore God’s journey and ours through song, worship, dance, drama, art, reflection, and prayer, looking back at the long lineage of pilgrims who came before us … and looking forward to where the journey may take us even still.

2017 Highlights

  • Charlotte Bronze handbell ensemble in concert
  • Organ recital by Eileen Guenther
  • Youth Talent Show
  • Choral, handbell, and organ reading sessions
  • A music store and a handbell product store, both operated by J.W. Pepper & Son

Founded to support musicians in The United Methodist Church, The Fellowship has grown to include worship artists, clergy, and laity involved in all aspects of worship from a variety of denominations and experiences.

The Fellowship exists to assist worship leaders in creating meaningful worship experiences that bring people into deeper relationships with God and each other.
